PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Double exchange Peltier cell cooling system. The small size and ease of use make the instrument suitable for working in any environment. The instrument provides in the shortest possible time all the information necessary for the oenologist to define the times and methods of continuous stabilization of a wine. Using a simple and intuitive software it is possible to:
– Perform isothermal kinetics and precipitation at any temperature from -5° to 45°C.
– Determine the TS by intersection of the thermal conductivity profiles both in the absence and in the presence of THK crystals.
ISOTHERMAL
– Thermostatization: in just a few minutes it brings the sample to the chosen temperature and thermostats it over time
– Precipitation: once the test temperature is reached, it tells the operator to add THK and detects the conductivity every 5 seconds while maintaining the temperature inside the chamber unchanged.
– Graphs: at the end of a pre-established interval (defined by the user) it displays a diagram where the precipitation kinetics and all the useful parameters of the analysis are reported.
MEASUREMENT OF SATURATION TEMPERATURE (TS)
The TS Test determines the temperature at which the solubility of THK equals the concentration of dissolved THK.
The KALIUM TEST allows you to perform this test by generating an operational sequence composed of the following phases:
– As is curve: the sample is brought to T.min. and then heated to T.max; during this procedure the conductivity is stored every 5 seconds.
– Addition of THK: the sample is cooled again to T.min where the operator adds THK: a thermal stabilization phase follows. The temperature at which the detachment between the two curves occurs is the TS.
– Graphs: at the end the stored data are interpolated and the TS is mathematically determined. All the analyses performed are automatically saved in an Archive file inside the instrument. The powerful operating system (256 MB) allows you to store several thousand samples. The saved data are automatically sorted by name, date and time of analysis.
PC “Touch Screen”: The instrument is equipped with an internal “Touch Screen” computer that directly manages all analysis, graphs, calibration and archive operations.
Cell Thermostat: The cell is cooled in just a few minutes thanks to the double exchange Peltier cells with AIR cooling.
Peripherals: The instrument does not require ANY external PERIPHERAL to function.
