PROJECT DESCRIPTION

 

The new EDO 6 ISO R TPGB – EDO 12 ISO R TPGB monobloc is able to bottle both still wines and sparkling wines or spumante. It has a series of innovative features that make it particularly suitable to meet the needs of small and medium-sized wineries.

Automatic linear machines

This particular solution allows the creation of an extremely reliable machine, withoutmechanisms subject to wear.

The main features of the linear machine can besummarized as follows:
•They guarantee a very fast and extremely economical format change.
• They allow easy use even by a single operator.
• They are easily adaptable to any type of wine thanks to the possibility of adjusting all the operating functions of the machine.

Machine structure

The machine is mounted on a sturdy carbon steel frame whose upper part is covered instainless steel. It is made up of:

 

• Stainless steel support uprights.
• Removable stainless steel lower casings.
• Large plexiglass doors equipped with safety switches to block the machine when opening.
• Anti-opening door lock with pressurized bottles.
• Adjustable feet
• Chain conveyor belt for automatic bottle handling. Towing excluded.
• Width-adjustable conveyor belt guides.
• Optional towing table and accumulation of full bottles.
• The frame is designed to house the distribution and closing system for sparkling wine cages in the future.

Inert gas injection station

All EDO ISO R TPGB monoblocks are equipped with an inert gas injection station in the bottle before filling.

Any type of gas can be used.
• The quantity of gas delivered can be adjusted quickly and easily.
• This function can be activated or deactivated.

Wine tank

The tank of the fillers is horizontal and is designed to guarantee maximum sanitization and total lack of contact between wine and air. Its main features are:

• All connections are made with sanitary fittings.
• Easy cleaning thanks to a removable large diameter sight glass.
• Easy adaptability to different bottle sizes as the tank is adjustable in height.
• Inert gas inlet tap to avoid any possible oxidation.
• Pressure gauge • Electro level that directly controls the wine supply pump.
• Total drain tap with ground connection to avoid dirtying the machine surface.

Multifunctional taps
 • The taps of the EDO ISO R TPGB fillers are extremely simple and functional. They are connected to the tank by means of a sanitary Clamp type connection.
• They can be easily removed from the tank for easier cleaning.
• Easy adaptability for level adjustment.
• They are designed to fill still, sparkling or spumante wine.
• Stainless steel electro valve for product introduction into the bottle.

“KIT ISO” module

The EDO 6 ISO R TPGB monobloc is designed for processing still and sparkling wines. The “KIT ISO” moduleallows the various phases of isobaric filling to be carried out:

Pressurization of the bottles at the same pressure as the wine to be bottled.
• Filling and evacuation of the pressurization gas.
• Final depressurization.

 

Rotary capping machine

On the EDO 6 ISO R TPGB monoblocks there is a capping station that can apply cork or plastic caps flush with the bottle neck or mushroom. The main features are:

• Bottle feeding by star.
• Torque limiting clutch for rotation release in case of blockage.
• Rotation speed adjustment by inverter.
• Capping head with stainless steel inserts.
• Cap dimensions with diameter 23-30 mm. and height up to 50 mm.
• Pneumatic cap feeding system with cap reserve alarm.

Cages distribution and closing station
This station provides for the distribution and closing of the cages, it includes:
• Adjustable cage magazine.
• Adjustable pneumatic distribution fork.
• Cap presence sensor for distribution activation.
• Magnetic star for cage alignment.
• Cap presence sensor for cage closing activation.
• Pneumatically operated closing station.

 

Pneumatic system

All movements are managed by a pneumatic system made with Pneumax brand components, it includes:
•  Electro valves
• Actuator cylinders with flow regulators and end-of-stroke positioners
• Compressed air pressure reducer
• Inertization gas pressure reducer

Electrical panel
The electrical panel, made to CE standards, is located inside the machine and interfaces with the operatorvia a front panel obtained directly in the machine structure.

It includes:

• Siemens PLC with LOGO TDE control keyboard
• Simple and intuitive user interface that guides the operator through the various adjustment phases.
• Power socket for connecting the wine supply pump.
